National Patient Travel Center

Provides information about all forms of charitable, long-distance, medically-related transportation and provides referrals to all appropriate sources of help available in the national charitable medical transportation network. Their resources include:

  • Phone helpline
  • Access to charitable or discount airline tickets for eligible patients and escorts
  • Access to volunteer pilot organizations
  • Assistance with long-distance (bus, train) ground transportation

CancerCare Gets You There

The CancerCare® program provides financial assistance to eligible patients with pancreatic cancer for transportation costs such as gasoline, parking, tolls, and taxi, bus, or train fare to and from treatment facilities.

HealthCare Hospitality Network

A nationwide professional association of nearly 200 unique, nonprofit organizations that provide lodging and support services to patients, families, and their loved ones who are receiving medical treatment far from their home communities.

The Extra Mile

Collects frequent flyer miles from people who don’t need them and then gives them to those who do need them in order to visit loved ones with cancer.
